Naruko's Mother (鳴子の母 Naruko no Haha) is Naruko's mother and a secondary character of the anime.
Personality[]
Although she treats her daughter pretty calmly and won't let herself get impressed by her attitude, she shares a close relationship with Naruko. Nevertheless, there sure is nothing Naruko is more afraid of than to attract the anger of her mother, because despite the freedom she allows herself to take, her mother knows, unlike Jinta's father, strict limits of what her child is allowed to do and what not. One way or another, fights aren't avoidable in those cases, which leads Naruko to shun her mother in those situations, if necessary even over longer times. She is happy over every visit of her daughter's childhood friends and shares a good relationship with each of them.
Appearance[]
Naruko's mother is a corpulent, older looking woman with long, brown, curly hair that is tied together in a pigtail and lays on her shoulders. Her eyes are brown as well, although visibly lighter colored. She wears a pink shirt with a darker pink collar and blue jeans combined with light blue slippers. Over her clothes, she wears a white apron.
